Rfc 6258 Dtn
نویسنده
چکیده
This document defines an extension block that may be used with the Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) Bundle Protocol. This Metadata Extension Block is designed to carry additional information that DTN nodes can use to make processing decisions regarding bundles, such as deciding whether to store a bundle or determining to which nodes to forward a bundle. The metadata that is carried in a metadata block must be formatted according to the metadata type that is identified in the block’s metadata type field. One specific metadata type, for carrying URIs as metadata, is defined in this document. Other metadata types may be defined in separate documents. This document is a product of the Delay Tolerant Networking Research Group and has been reviewed by that group. No objections to its publication as an RFC were raised.

متن کاملRFC 5326 LTP - Specification September
This RFC is not a candidate for any level of Internet Standard. It represents the consensus of the Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) Research Group of the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF). It may be considered for standardization by the IETF in the future, but the IETF disclaims any knowledge of the fitness of this RFC for any purpose and in particular notes that the decision to publish is not...

This document defines an Experimental Protocol for the Internet community. This document is a product of the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF). The IRTF publishes the results of Internet-related research and development activities. These results might not be suitable for deployment. This RFC represents the consensus of the Delay-Tolerant Networking Research Group of the Internet Research Task...
متن کاملRFC 6259 DTN Previous - Hop Insertion Block May 2011
This document defines an extension block for use with the DelayTolerant Networking (DTN) Bundle Protocol. This Previous-Hop Insertion Block (PHIB) extension block is designed to be inserted by a forwarding node to provide the endpoint identifier (EID) of an endpoint of which the forwarding node is a member so that this EID may be conveyed to the next-hop receiving node. Knowledge of an EID of a...
متن کاملAn Empirical Performance Comparison of DTN Bundle Protocol Implementations
In recent years, Delay Tolerant Networking (DTN) has received a lot of interest from the networking community. Today the Bundle Protocol (RFC 5050) is the standard communication protocol in DTNs and three major implementations are available. Since DTN is still a young research area, specifications as well as implementations have not yet reached the same state of maturity as e.g. TCP protocol st...
